Since October 2021, products with integrated rechargeable batteries have been added to the box collection of fluorescent tubes and batteries.

From June 2021, 1 city and 4 towns in Chubu and the Tottori Chubu Furusato Wide Area Union will conduct a demonstration experiment to prevent health hazards from scattering mercury and fire accidents during garbage collection and disposal. We perform "box collection of fluorescent tube, batteries" as this.

In order to prevent fire accidents caused by lithium-ion batteries, from October, it is now possible to put out "rechargeable battery integrated products" together with this collection box.

A small home appliance that can be recharged and whose battery cannot be removed.

Examples) Rechargeable electric shavers, heated cigarettes, wireless earphones, portable game consoles, mobile phones, etc.

Please put them in the "battery box" of the collection box for fluorescent tubes and batteries installed in the second government building of the city hall and the Sekigane branch office. (Target: household waste)

*Please bring the lithium-ion battery (single unit) to a JBRC cooperating store.
