Bed Bug Detection Dogs are trained by professional dog trainers to be able to sniff out the "smell" of bed bugs, and when they detect bed bugs, they will shake their heads to let you know. With excellent sense of smell, even a small number of bed bugs can be detected about 95% of the time. The detection rate is said to be less than 30% by human visual inspection, so it can be said that the detection accuracy is overwhelmingly high. In addition, it takes only 3 to 7 minutes to investigate one hotel room, and it is possible to investigate about 80 rooms in a maximum of 5 hours per day (including rest time for the detection dog).
